Description
Complete renovation of a ground-floor office in Paris 11ème, including the first installed prototypes of Zeroth's HEATER.
The architecture is a collaboration between Octave Perrault (Zeroth) and Marcello Tavone (HSD). The renovation organises a deep ground-floor plan through a restrained palette of white surfaces, walnut joinery, exposed structure and polished aggregate floors.
Four custom electric heater prototypes are integrated at the scale of the existing structural columns. Their tall radiant surfaces counterbalance the cold, uninsulated floor while appearing as part of the architecture. Controlled by a wireless room thermostat, they are the first installed instances of Zeroth's HEATER.
