Zeroth is a packaged thermal energy system that replace a typical heat pump. Its particularity is to combine high-tech and low-tech solutions to deliver greater performance with a fast installation process, improved reliability, and significantly reduced carbon footprints, both operational and embodied. Zeroth’s innovative approach is rooted in the conviction that bioclimatic design principles should be used to amplify the performance of HVAC systems, not only that of the architecture. This approach opens a new a path towards a more sustainable built environment which is natural, contemporary, and scalable. Founded in 2022, Zeroth is based in Paris (FR), with partners in Princeton (NJ) and investors in San Francisco (US). Zeroth is named after the Zeroth law of thermodynamics.
