Perpetual Climate Glass Pavilion

Unbuilt proposal for the 2025 Venice Architecture Biennale: an off-grid glass pavilion climatised by a Zero-0 Energy Unit customised with fanless heat exchangers and a surplus-energy pool.

The proposal explores the possibility of energy autonomy within an archetypal modernist glass pavilion. It intends to demonstrate the power of dynamic efficiency in the age of renewables and enable the audience to engage tangibly with seasonal abundance.

A bed establishes a domestic interior while a working gaming computer creates a continuous heat load. The environmental equipment is treated as architecture in itself: monolith, partitions, radiators and water features structure the space.

The system collects, stores and exchanges energy silently, powered solely by the sun. Predictive controls anticipate opportunities from weather, occupancy and computing demand to amplify the system's energy output.
